Robby Naish is widely acknowledged to be one of the greatest board riders of all time, with a career that now spans 28 years since winning his first windsurfing world title in 1976. After retiring from the PWA Windsurfing Tour in 2001, Naish is now free to focus on his passion for sport in new and exciting directions. Based on Oahu and Maui Hawaii, the Naish Team has immense technical background. The board design team of his father Rick Naish and Harold Iggy has been shaping winning designs for over twenty years, including speed boards for the once world record holder Pascal Maka. On the sail side, the Naish team takes on the challenge with both state-of-the-art camber induced single surface sails and inflated strut double surface sails. The Naish team is a leading force in the development of one of Robby Naish's other sports: kiteboarding which shows interesting potential in the speed arena as well. In 2003, Robby Naish set a new world speed record kiteboarding in the Canary Islands. |
